Discovery Channel in the Arctic Spas factory in Thorsby

Earlier this week, the factory in Thorsby had some very special visitors from Castlewood Productions.  You may have heard their name before — they’re the company behind such shows as Cash Cab and Design DNA.  From their website…

Castlewood Productions Inc. is an award-winning Toronto-based producer of primarily factual content for television. Founded in 2007, Castlewood Productions is built firmly on two decades of continuous television-making success by its President and executive producer Andrew Burnstein. Andrew’s reputation for creating a broad spectrum of quality factual entertainment has established Castlewood Productions as an industry leader in the production and distribution of popular programs for television.

Current clients and broadcast partners include Discovery Channel Canada, Shaw Media, and the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Castlewood’s version of the Emmy Award winning format Cash Cab is in production on its eighth hit season. ‘Design DNA’ produced for HGTV Canada (and distributed internationally by Beyond) is being broadcast around the world.

Castlewood is also leader in branded content and brand integration working closely with corporate and broadcast clients to craft television programing that is entertaining, informative and strategically focused.

These four were filming a TON of footage and interviews for featuring on a new Discovery Channel show that’s premiering in the fall of 2013.  We had so much fun, and we think they did too!  The series we’ll be featured in is called MANUFACTURED, and it focuses on how “the coolest stuff for guys gets made.”  The series was announced on March 11 2013, and will be debuting on Discovery Channel in the fall.
